Quickteller is hosting InsomniaQ, a 12 hour overnight music and culture event scheduled to run through the night in Lagos during the December festive season. The event will take place from the evening of 21 December into the early hours of 22 December 2025. It will hold at the Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island.

A No Sleep Format Built For December Lagos

InsomniaQ runs as a continuous overnight experience rather than a standard concert. There are no fixed sets or breaks. Instead, the programme flows from evening till morning, blending live music, DJs, and cultural performances.

Quickteller says the concept reflects the pace of Lagos in December. During this period, nightlife stretches late into the night and the city attracts visitors from across Nigeria and the diaspora.

Free Entry With Controlled Access

The event is free to attend. However, Quickteller controls access through an online waitlist to manage venue capacity. Interested attendees must register in advance through the official InsomniaQ website.

By avoiding ticket sales, Quickteller presents InsomniaQ as an open cultural experience. Access depends on availability rather than pricing tiers.

Music And Culture Without Breaks

Throughout the night, performances run without interruption. The event moves through different sounds and moods as the hours progress.

The programming spans contemporary and alternative styles. Quickteller aims to keep energy levels high from late evening until morning. There are no scheduled pauses between performances, reinforcing the no sleep concept.

Standing Out In A Crowded December Calendar

InsomniaQ lands during Lagos’ busiest entertainment period. Concerts, pop ups, and nightlife events dominate the calendar at this time.

Unlike many one off shows, InsomniaQ unfolds gradually over several hours. It does not build toward a single headline moment. The indoor hotel venue supports this format and suits long form programming.

A Lifestyle Play From Quickteller

For Quickteller, InsomniaQ marks another move beyond payments into lifestyle and cultural engagement. The platform is widely used for bill payments, airtime, and everyday transactions.

Through InsomniaQ, Quickteller aims to connect with users during high engagement periods. The company has described the event as part of its effort to engage users beyond transactions during the festive season.

Who The Event Is For

InsomniaQ targets music lovers, nightlife enthusiasts, and December returnees. It also speaks to young consumers who already use Quickteller’s services.

The overnight format appeals to people looking for something different from the typical concert or club night. Registration remains open through the official event page. The event will take place for one night only. Quickteller has not said whether it plans to repeat InsomniaQ in future years.
