How to report an error
Email hello@techsoma.africa with the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, the proposed correction, and any supporting primary source or documentation. Put “Correction request” in the subject line for time-sensitive issues.
How requests are reviewed
The editorial team reviews the published material, the evidence supplied, and the original reporting or source documents. We may contact the person submitting the request, the writer, or relevant sources when additional context is required.
How corrections appear
Confirmed material errors are corrected in the article. When the change affects a reader’s understanding of the story, an update or correction note will explain what changed. Minor spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not change the article’s meaning.
Updates and developing stories
Developing stories may be updated as reliable new information becomes available. An update is not necessarily a correction; however, any earlier factual error discovered during an update will be handled under this policy.
Disagreements
A request to remove accurate reporting, a difference of opinion, or dissatisfaction with fair criticism is not by itself grounds for a correction. We will still review credible evidence that a material statement is false, misleading, or missing essential context.
