Apply Now! NTEEP 5.0 is Here to Empower African Startups to Scale and Succeed

The Nomfro Technologies Entrepreneurship Empowerment Project (NTEEP) is back for its fifth edition, offering 500 startups across Africa a golden opportunity to join a vibrant community of entrepreneurs. This year’s program, with the theme “Fostering a Dynamic Ecosystem That Drives Growth,” is set to continue its impactful journey of nurturing innovation and empowering entrepreneurs across the continent. Applications are open until March 30th, 2025, inviting aspiring innovators to join this transformative initiative.

About NTEEP 5.0

 

Launched in 2020, NTEEP has already trained and empowered over 1,600 startups across the continent, providing essential resources to help businesses scale and succeed. The program’s core objective is to create a collaborative ecosystem where entrepreneurs can connect, grow, and thrive.

NTEEP 5.0 is not just another entrepreneurship program; it aims to select 500 startups across Africa, providing:

  • Tailored training programs to address unique business challenges.
  • One-on-one mentorship from seasoned professionals.
  • Business growth tools, including free websites and digital tools.
  • Networking opportunities with entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

This initiative has transformed many startups into sustainable ventures that drive positive change in their communities.

Adams John Smart, Project Director of NTEEP and CEO of Nomfro Technologies, emphasized its importance:

“NTEEP has become more than just a program; it’s a movement. Over the years, we have seen how the resources and support we provide have propelled startups into sustainable businesses that contribute to the African economy. This year’s theme underscores our vision to nurture a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that fuels innovation, collaboration, and growth.”

Eligibility Criteria

 

To qualify for NTEEP 5.0, startups must meet at least one or more of the following criteria:

  • Operate in Africa.
  • Be in the idea or early stage of development.
  • Demonstrate potential for growth and scalability.
  • Be founded by Africans living abroad.
  • Be an international startup focused on African women, youths, or children.
