PalmPay Launches ₦400 Million World Travel Carnival Rewards Campaign

PalmPay has launched a ₦400 million festive rewards campaign called World Travel Carnival, offering users cash prizes and international travel rewards for completing everyday transactions on its app. The campaign runs from 17 December 2025 to 8 January 2026 and is open to PalmPay users across Nigeria.

Everyday Transactions Drive Participation

The campaign centres on regular in app activity. Users earn digital city cards when they carry out eligible transactions such as transfers, airtime top ups, and data purchases. Each qualifying transaction must meet a minimum value of ₦100.

The city cards represent five destinations. London, New York, Dubai, Sydney, and Cape Town. Once a user collects all five, they can combine them into a World Card. As a result, they qualify for cash rewards and entry into the travel prize draws.

Social Card Swapping Encourages Engagement

Beyond individual activity, PalmPay has introduced a social feature that allows users to swap city cards with one another. This makes it easier for participants to complete their sets, especially when certain cards prove harder to earn.

At the same time, the app tracks user activity through an in app leaderboard. The rankings determine which users qualify for the top travel rewards in each prize round.

Cash Prizes And International Travel Rewards

PalmPay has set aside ₦400 million as the total cash reward pool for the campaign. Users who complete the World Card requirement will share this amount.

In addition, each prize round will reward two top ranked users with international travel packages. According to PalmPay, these packages cover visa fees, round trip flights, accommodation for five days and four nights, meals, transfers, and curated experiences. However, PalmPay limits each user to one travel win throughout the campaign.

Prize Rounds And Fraud Prevention Measures

The competition runs across multiple rounds, with PalmPay scheduled to announce winners on 25 December, 31 December, and 8 January.

Meanwhile, PalmPay says it actively monitors the campaign to prevent abuse. The company checks for bots, duplicate accounts, and unusual transaction patterns. If an account violates the rules, PalmPay may disqualify it from the competition.

Part Of PalmPay’s End Of Year Campaign Push

World Travel Carnival runs alongside PalmPay’s Purple December end of year campaign, which focuses on rewarding frequent usage during the holiday spending period. In a brief campaign statement, PalmPay said the initiative is designed to “turn everyday banking into meaningful value for our users.”

For users, participation remains straightforward. Routine payments and top ups automatically count toward rewards, and no separate sign ups or special purchases are required. As a result, users who already use the app regularly stand to benefit the most.

The campaign will close on 8 January 2026. After that, PalmPay will confirm final winners and begin processing travel arrangements.
