Meet the 55 Finalists Announced for the Africa Tech Summit Awards 2025 in Nairobi

The Africa Tech Summit Awards has announced its 2025 finalists, recognizing outstanding individuals and companies making a significant impact in Africa’s tech sector.

The winners will be revealed during a special awards ceremony on February 13, 2025, as part of the seventh edition of Africa Tech Summit Nairobi. The summit, scheduled for February 12-13, 2025, will bring together over 2,000 industry leaders and 1,000+ companies, creating a vibrant platform for collaboration, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Celebrating Excellence Across African Tech

The Africa Tech Summit Awards 2025 will honor achievements across 11 sector and two individual categories, recognizing the companies and leaders driving innovation and addressing key challenges in the African tech ecosystem.

With over 300 applications submitted, an independent panel of judges carefully reviewed each entry, evaluating them based on four key factors:

  • Innovation
  • Impact
  • Scalability
  • Relevance to the African market

A Tough Selection Process

Lauren Adair, Director of Africa Tech Summit, expressed her excitement about the awards:

“We’re delighted to announce the finalists for the inaugural Africa Tech Summit Awards. With over 300 entries, our judges had the tough task of narrowing it down to only 5 finalists in each category. All the finalists are transforming their sectors and driving growth across the continent, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements in Nairobi next month.”
