New York’s financial district will host the sixth edition of the Opportunities in Africa Summit from November 5-7, 2025. The event brings African entrepreneurs, government officials, and global investors together at ONE PACE PLAZA, just one block from the World Trade Centre.

African Entrepreneurs Get Direct Access to Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan

The summit offers private meetings with representatives from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley. These sessions happen in confidential offices across the Financial District, where African business leaders can discuss capital access and investor readiness with Wall Street’s top firms.

Day one includes an exclusive chance for selected delegates to participate in the Nasdaq or NYSE Closing Bell Ceremony. This symbolic moment puts African business at the center of global finance. The day wraps up with a VIP cocktail reception where investors, diplomats, and corporate partners network on a rooftop near Wall Street.

Eurobond Financing Takes Center Stage on Day Two

The second day focuses on practical funding solutions. A morning panel addresses Eurobond financing for African countries, covering sovereign borrowing trends, investor appetite, and debt sustainability. Government officials join global bond investors and multilateral agencies to discuss recent issuances and transparency improvements.

Another panel explores diaspora bonds, a financing tool that taps into global African communities. Central banks, diaspora leaders, and fintech platforms discuss how to structure these bonds successfully and build trust through technology.

Real Estate Investment Opportunities Across Eight African Markets

The summit highlights real estate opportunities in Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Rwanda, Guinea, Nigeria, Kenya, and Morocco. Legal experts, real estate developers, and mortgage providers share insights on land ownership, legal frameworks, and financing options for diaspora investors.

Rwanda shows the strongest GDP growth at 8.5%, while the Ivory Coast follows at 6.8%. Kenya ranks highest for ease of doing business at 56, compared to other featured markets. Nigeria attracts the most foreign direct investment at over $5 billion annually.

Innovative Finance Models and Blended Capital Solutions

An afternoon panel covers structured finance, infrastructure funding, and startup capital. Fund managers from development finance institutions explain how to use guarantees for risk mitigation. The session includes case studies of successful blended finance deals across Africa.

A fireside chat with a prominent investor or policymaker follows, discussing long-term capital building strategies for the continent.

Africa Capital Champions Awards Recognize Industry Leaders

The summit includes the Africa Capital Champions Awards, honouring individuals and organizations that advance capital access and innovation. Award categories include Diaspora Investment Leader of the Year, Real Estate Innovator Award, Eurobond Excellence Award, and Rising African Dealmakers.

Winners receive recognition at an exclusive VIP dinner in a private New York venue.

Day Three Blends Business with Manhattan’s Iconic Landmarks

The final day offers a guided tour of Manhattan’s landmarks. Delegates travel by luxury coach to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, One World Observatory, and the 9/11 Memorial. The tour includes a Wall Street photo stop at the Charging Bull and an optional Brooklyn Bridge walk.

Lunch features African-fusion cuisine at a renowned New York restaurant. Afternoon options include Broadway and Times Square, Fifth Avenue shopping, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Madison Square Garden, or a Harlem cultural tour covering Apollo Theatre and jazz history.

The summit ends with a rooftop toast overlooking the city skyline, featuring live music and an Afrobeat DJ set.

Full-Service Support from Airport to Rooftop

Organizers handle travel logistics from start to finish. High-standard hotel accommodations near the financial district come with an airport shuttle service. Transfers between hotels and the venue ensure delegates focus on networking and deal-making rather than navigation.

Partners get dedicated exhibition spaces to showcase innovations, interact with participants, and generate sales leads. The speaker lineup includes African heads of state, CEOs from global companies, C-level business leaders, and startup founders.

The venue location at ONE PACE PLAZA places attendees directly in front of the City Mayor’s Office, surrounded by Wall Street’s skyscrapers and connected to world-class business centers, including the Federal Reserve Bank and New York Stock Exchange.
